For a Sunset Experience...
The 1.5hr and 2hr rides can be turned into a sunset experience depending on the time you book. Ride horseback during the Golden Hour for a euphoric, serene, Arizona Sunset experience. You will experience a silhouette across the painted sky as you take in the beauty of the desert and see it come to life. It is an image you will never forget. There is no additional charge at Posh Canyon Trail Rides for riding with us at sunset, just simply contact us by phone or email to book.

Our 1.5hr loop ride is perfect for beginners and has a mix of flat trails and small hills. Enjoy the company of giant saguaros, including one with character that we call the Medusa cactus. You will also encounter our rare crested saguaro and be at the foot of it. Occasionally we will catch a glimpse of deer and javelina during this ride. This trail offers the best view of the Twin Butte Mountains.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned riders alike. Admire the stunning views of old saguaros and ironwood trees as you navigate your horse over more hills than our 1.5hr ride. Explore old mining spots that once yielded traces of copper. There are some beautiful rocks along the trail. Catch a glimpse of desert wildlife and learn about the vegetation. The Twin Butte mountains provide a picturesque backdrop throughout the majority of this ride.

Are you looking for adventure and variety in your horseback riding experience? This ride is the one for you! This ride is a diverse terrain of flat ground, hills, and sandy washes. The highlight of the ride is taking the horses through the Gila River, where they can splash, play, and grab a drink, adding a fun element to the journey. We also make a pitstop at a scenic overlook of the Twin Butte Mountains up close for a breathtaking view. We will take lots of pictures! When we get to Gila River, clients are more than welcome to dismount and stretch their legs. If you want to bring a swimsuit and towel please do. We usually take a 20 minute break at the river.
