Horseback Riding Lessons
Welcome to Posh Canyon Stables! We offer horseback riding lessons in Arizona and have students from Florence, Coolidge, Casa Grande, Maricopa, Eloy, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and surrounding areas. We are located in Florence, AZ and teach horseback riding lessons for ages 7yrs+ . We teach a lot of adults as well. It's never too late to learn how to ride a horse! We teach western riding with an english riding approach. Learning both ways of riding is very important to us, especially because we have a lot of background in training horses and love helping people develop their horsemanship skills! It is very important to learn how to ride with one and two hands. When our students learn how to ride with 2 hands, then they learn with 1 which is standard for western riding.
Our lessons are usually private but sometimes we have up to 3 people in a class. We have riding instructors who will teach you how to:​​

-catch your horse and learn to halter and lead
-groom your horse by brushing and cleaning hooves
-saddle up and unsaddle
-Ride a horse at a walk, trot/jog, and a canter/lope.
-identify parts of the saddle
-identify skeletal structures of a horse​

We also will teach you some basic groundwork including lunging and controlling the neck, front end, and hind end of your horse. All horseback riding lessons are $65 per rider. It will be about an hour of horseback riding time and 30 minutes of grooming and saddling up.
We offer horseback riding lessons to adults Monday-Friday mornings and we offer horseback riding lessons to kids Wednesday-Friday evenings. Saturdays and Sundays are private appointments only. We will do our best to keep similar age groups and skill levels together. We look forward to meeting you and/or your child! We will get you learning how to care, manage, and ride a horse in no time!
